Tutorial Tuesday:: Quick Tee from Noodlehead

I find myself never able to find a well fitting t-shirt, how about you?  Anything that fits the chest is too short or tight in my shoulders or if it fits my shoulders and chest it is too boxy of a cut for my taste *SIGH*.  I always have lofty goals to create THE PERFECT TEE and in finding this great Quick Tee Tutorial by Anna from Noodlehead it could not be easier!  I love that there are not set in sleeves taking production time way down and solves the shoulder and chest fit problems.  I cannot wait to sew this one up!
In order to get a scoop neckline, don't forget to cut the neckline lower on the front piece than the back.
Anna also offers this cool trick to using a twin needle. She suggests winding two bobbins, and loading one in your bobbin case and one with your thread spool, cause' who has two spools of the same color thread?

Most cotton jersey knits will be great for this shirt. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial and please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!

Happy sewing!
