Sew Knit Love
There is beauty in simplicity. We design sewing and knitting patterns with simplicity in mind so that you can connect with the joy of crafting beautiful pieces for your everyday. Celebrate the beauty of natural fibres, love how they move and make your skin feel. Our silhouettes are designed to be loose and flowing and not get in the way of your day. With love from Tasmania, the heart shaped island at the bottom of Australia xx Sarah and Suki
Fluttery layers of raw edged light jersey, falling about like petals on your sweet little blossom. A fabulous project to use up those bits and pieces of scrap which you love but couldn’t find a use for! Layer colours and patterns in complementary or contrasting tones for a look which is all your own. The perfect piece for the sewist who has never worked with jersey before because there are no hems at all.

With clever folded cuffs to keep your little one’s feet warm it made so much sense to name these harem pants ‘joey’ for the way all marsupials keep their babies warm in a pouch. Perfect for the little one who simply can’t keep socks on, of for adding another layer of warmth inside booties or shoes, our cuffs will stop that never ending sock hunt on a cold day. Comfort and warmth won’t cost style: dress them up with a ribbon tie, or keep it simple with twill tape, have the cuffs contrasting, you name it! You’ll love our easy peasy waistband – no elastic casing or buttonholes for ties. A super fast sewing project for you that is so easy to wear. You’ll make multiple pairs for every small person in your life!

With their large fluffy candle-like flowers, the banksia is one of our best known shrubs. Most varieties have fantastic sawtooth leaves, just like the bottom hem of this jumper. We designed this piece to make the most of the ease of knit fabrics: raw edges, lots of swing, and multiple sleeve lengths so there’s one for every season. The Banksia Jumper looks fabulous over a dress with volume like our Horizon Dress, but looks equally stylish over harems or tights. So much fun to dress up or down!

With a hood to keep bub’s head and neck warm and a double layer at the front, this warm hug of a kimono is the perfect layering piece. Make it from a light fleece for winter or a merino jersey for summer. The trim can be a contrast of your choosing: knit or woven, complementary or total colour shock, the choice is yours.
