Tutorial Tuesday :: Cold Shoulder Pattern Hack from Hey June

One of the hottest trends right now is cold shoulder sleeves on both tops and dresses, so we were thrilled to find this perfect Cold Shoulder Pattern Hack Tutorial from Adrianna of Hey June. In her example, Adrianna uses her Linville Romper & Dress Sewing Pattern, but her instructions would apply to almost any pattern that includes short sleeves. If you don't already own Hey June's Linville Romper & Dress Sewing Pattern, you can order this and many more Indie Sewing Patterns at Girl Charlee today!

With clear illustrated graphics paired up with step-by-step written directions, this tutorial is incredibly easy to follow. Adrianna spotlights using the Linville as her base, but she does include instructions on how to use different sewing patterns, and even includes slightly different directions for using a regular sewing machine and a serger.

For her new top, Adrianna uses a light to mid weight, drapey knit similar to Cotton Jersey and Cotton Lycra. A few of my picks from the store:
