January Customer Spotlight :: Cari Pavel of Tiny Feathered Arrow

Our January Customer Spotlight features Cari Pavel of Tiny Feathered Arrow, a stylish handmade children's clothing and accessories line with a wide range of product offerings. Below is more about Cari and how this mother of three transformed her hobby into her own successful business. Enjoy!

About Cari ::
Hi, I’m Cari, the maker behind Tiny Feathered Arrow. I am a proud Marine wife and a SAHM of three; two wild boys and a sweet little girl who was the inspiration behind my Etsy shop. I taught myself how to sew in 2012 to help make my husbands long military work hours and lonely deployments go by faster. However, it wasn't until my daughter was born in 2015 that I fell in love with the small shop community where I was introduced to handmade leggings and matching headbands. After life with a newborn got less hectic I realized I could make them myself. Soon after that my hobby became my shop, Tiny Feathered Arrow.

Comfortable leggings and matching bows is my motto and Girl Charlee Fabrics helps me maintain that goal. The fabric I use has to be high quality in order to stand up to the rough and tough life of an on-the-go toddler. Since opening my shop in the Fall of 2016 I have expanded my products to also include shorties, harem pants and shorts, slouchy beanies, 3 styles of headbands, scoop back dresses, peplum tops, as well as circle, handkerchief and maxi skirts. I hope to offer mommy and me matching leggings in my FW18 line!

The thing that I love most about my craft is seeing pictures of items I created on little loves all over the country. From their first trip to Disney to their Wild One birthday party and every occasion in-between, knowing that I was a small part in putting a smile on their face makes my long days well worth it! Follow my shop on Instagram here to see these cute pictures and for discount codes!

I have been blessed beyond measure with support and love from people that I know as well as perfectly kind strangers throughout this journey. I have loved getting to know many different makers in the small shop community. Mamas who help their kiddos represent small shops through a lens, and professionals in the textile industry who are involved with the fine details of my items. I get excited every day to wake up and create new children's apparel to share with the world. To be able to stay at home and raise my kids all at the same time is a dream come true that I will forever be grateful for!
