Kate McAuley of Pattern Emporium combines her 20+ years of experience as a designer in the fashion industry with her talent for flair, fit & function to bring you sewing patterns that allow you to create your own wearable fashion at home.
The Ladies Summer Breeze Dress sewing pattern is fast & easy to make and flattering to lots of shapes and sizes. It is an easy fitting, casual & comfortable summer dress. The main design features a drawstring high waist, drawstring shoulder detail, v-neck front & back & side splits on an A-line skirt silhouette. You can make yourself a maxi dress or a shorter, knee length dress. And of course, this pattern comes with lots of optional extras to help you get creative including shoulder pleats, elasticized waist & mock drawstring. There's also a pattern hack to add a back neck strap if needed.
Easy to sew, it fits well and it's very versatile. Featuring: Elastic Waist, Elastic Ankle (or elastic free), and Easy relaxed fit. It is suitable for beginners to the more experienced with many extra options. You can also leave out the ankle elastic altogether & make a great little pair of easy lounge pants too. This is the kids version of the Ladies Harem Pants.
With it’s flattering fit and flare silhouette, the Spellbound Dress is the perfect all-rounder. A sewing pattern for stretch knit fabrics, this style is gently shaped through the body (bust & waist). It is designed to fit the upper body firmly but comfortably. It then flares out in a wide A-line silhouette, from the hip bone to the hemline. With simple styling, the Tumble Bums are easy fitting shorts, bloomers, plain pants & harem pants. They are super practical with no side seams, no pockets, nothing fancy; just a great fit. Best of all, they are FAST & EASY TO SEW!! Not only do you get to choose the style you want to make (shorts, bloomers, pants or harems), you also get to choose between 4 awesome waistbands that are simple to sew & look professional. This is the smaller version of the Kids Tumble Bums.
