Tutorial Tuesday :: DIY Leather Fold Over Clutch from Say Yes

If you're looking for a stylish handmade project that will take almost any outfit to the next level, look no further than this DIY Leather Fold Over Clutch from Liz Stanley of Say Yes. This easy-to-sew clutch purse requires only half a yard of Vegan Leather Fabric, and is the perfect accessory for both everyday use and nights out. Before you know it, you'll be making clutches as gifts for all of your friends and family members. Happy Sewing!

Liz's instructions are very easy to follow, with clear photographs and written instruction to help take you through each step of sewing your new clutch. Once you sew your first, you are going to want to make them again and again.

I love how Liz chose to use fuchsia pink vegan leather with a fun mint colored zipper. When picking your zippers, be sure to find one that compliments the color of your leather.

For a wide range of different color options for your new clutch, shop our entire collection of Vegan Leather Fabrics here! A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next Knit Picks!

Happy Sewing!
