NEW Blank Slate Patterns have just been added to our collection of independent sewing patterns! These gorgeous women's patterns will become some of your favorite wardrobe staples for year round wear as each can be made from a variety of different fabrics. Sew them up in lighter weight knits for the warmer months and heavier weight knits throughout Winter. Below is more about Blank Slate Patterns along with a few new patterns each paired with complimentary fabrics from the shop. Enjoy!

Melissa, the designer of Blank Slate Patterns, is a mom to two boys and a former theatre teacher/costumer who has been sewing for over 30 years. The seeds for Blank Slate Patterns were planted when she searched high and low for a blazer pattern for her then 2 year old son and discovered there wasn’t one. So she drafted it. Other people expressed interest in the pattern, and a company was born!

The Shoreline Boatneck Top and Dress is an easy sew alternative to a t-shirt. Add to that the endless variations on woven and knit fabrics that you can use, and this is a great pattern to sew over and over! And to give you more ideas, the pattern includes a hack pack with instructions for a gathered skirt, a fitted sleeveless dress, bell sleeves and a button back. All Shoreline purchases receive the hack pack file as well.
