Tutorial Tuesday :: Raglan Tunic Top from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom

Tunic length tops are incredibly popular because they are so comfortable to wear and easy to pair with leggings and other bottoms. This Raglan Tunic Top Tutorial and FREE Sewing Pattern from Jamie Sanders of Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom is sure to become your new favorite top, as it can be customized exactly how you want it. In her different samples, Jamie changes the sleeve length, neckline, and cuffs to create a unique look every time! Pick up a couple of yards of your favorite Girl Charlee Fabrics and print out this free indie pattern to start sewing right away!

The pattern and tutorial is based off of Jaime's original Girl's Raglan Tunic Top, so now you and your little one can match!

Between her posts Jaime sews up her raglans in several different knit fabric types, from a lightweight jersey to a sweatshirt fleece. Depending on how you want your raglan to look and feel, you can use just about any knit! I suggest starting your search with cotton jersey, french terry, and hacci sweater knits. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next Knit Picks!

Happy Sewing!
