Our January Customer Spotlight features April Behunin of SkuttleBum, an adorable handmade children's apparel and accessories shop. What started as a small shop exclusively selling baby leggings has grown exponentially, with the addition of beanies, headbands, dresses, and more! Below is more about April and her growing company. Enjoy!

About April ::
Hi, this is April from SkuttleBum! Two years ago I was at a completely different point in my life. I had a brand new baby which stripped me right out of corporate America to a life led at home. I started Skuttlebum, a handmade baby and toddler apparel shop as a way of providing for my family, but also a way to scratch the itch that I never knew was there. In a matter of only a few months I was able to create an online presence and develop a brand, all while tending to my baby girl. The idea was to create unique, hip, and affordable clothing that can’t be found at your typical big box stores. Girl Charlee was the perfect source for fun knit fabric, at competitive prices, that would stand the test of babies learning to crawl, and toddlers learning to run and play hard.
It started with just baby leggings, but I have since been able to grow my product lines into harems, shorts, beanies, and headbands. I have most recently branched in designing and printing t-shirts as well. I have a lot of great things in store for the future of Skuttlebum and I am looking forward to every minute of it. Girl Charlee will continue to be at the core of our brand as we continue with our everyday staples like buffalo plaid, florals, and camo all while cutting and sewing the next great thing.

We hope you have enjoyed reading about April. If you would like to be featured in our next Customer Spotlight post, email gcblog@girlcharlee.com and we will get in touch.
