Melissa, the designer of Blank Slate Patterns, is a mom to two boys and a former theatre teacher/costumer who has been sewing for over 30 years. The seeds for Blank Slate Patterns were planted when she searched high and low for a blazer pattern for her then 2 year old son and discovered there wasn’t one. So she drafted it. Other people expressed interest in the pattern, and a company was born!

Blank Slate Patterns Wintersong Dress Sewing Pattern ::
The Wintersong Dress sewing pattern is perfect for attending holiday events without freezing! Featuring long sleeves, just add tights for some warm winter dazzle. And we won't tell if you don't - this knit dress is actually a comfortable option for dressy events.

Victory Patterns
Victory Patterns is the creation of Kristiann Boos, a designer and pattern maker based out of Toronto, Canada. After teaching sewing for a number of years, Kristiann decided to create a line of patterns that would appeal to modern style sensibilities and that would be a pleasure to sew along with. She is passionate about creating designs that encourage you to make your own handmade, inspired and personal clothing.

Victory Patterns Trina Dress and Top Sewing Pattern ::
Trina is a fusion between a classic wrap dress and a kimono. The cross over front bodice creates a V-neckline and features gathers above the bust. The kimono inspired sleeve is combined with raglan styling. At the sides, the bodice front overlaps the back, allowing the tie to exit and wrap around the natural waist. Version 1: Create a tunic with the hemline ending just below the hip. The tie in this version is made with of a contrasting fabric. Version 2: Create a dress with a hemline ending just below the knee. You may choose to line the skirt portion of this dress.
