About Tricia ::

Hi! My name is Tricia Riggio. I am the owner and designer of the women's apparel and beachwear company, Bellapia Designs LLC. I am a wife of almost 13 years and my husband and I have three children. I began my creative journey as a hairstylist. I love creating beauty and making women feel good about themselves. Though I still do hair in my home salon we built, I added Seamstress to my portfolio. I started my company a few years ago with children's clothing, then migrated to women's soon after when I fell in love with making my own clothing. I started my company because I wanted women to have a US MADE option when buying clothing, swimwear and accessories. When creating many pieces in my collection, I have a mindset that I don't want to be known for just one product. I want to be known as a brand.

I love shopping for fabric. I usually have an idea of what my new season collection will feature but when I shop the sections at Girl Charlee, I am flooded with visions and ideas of what my collection needs. The countless hours I spend picking and choosing combinations for my various skirts, dresses and kimonos. I know I am doing what I am supposed to do in life because when I pick the right fabric, an instant image and scene of the model, the product and location is burned in my brain. That gets me excited to order, open that box and start creating. My literal dreams come true when I design. Then after the photo shoot and products are posted on my website, I get to sit back and see others enjoy the experience, and lifestyle my pieces create. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing that fabric become someone's favorite skirt, or dress or swimsuit etc. That is what success is for me. Success is my happiness and happiness is my success.
