The holiday season is fast approaching, and for those who plan to hand-make their gifts, it's time to start sewing! For this week's Tutorial Tuesday, I've rounded up several gorgeous (and easy-to-make) knit fabric scarves that would be perfect for your #handmadeholiday! With this many different options below, you are sure to get inspired right in time for the holidays. Enjoy!

Lace Infinity Scarf by Sew Liberated
This Lace Scarf Tutorial from Sew Liberated has such a delicate, feminine touch to it. Any light-weight cotton jersey fabric is perfect for this lovely scarf. A few of my picks from the store:
DIY Infinity Scarf/Nursing Cover by Vanilla & Lace and Babble
Abi Porter from Vanilla & Lace posted this very simple DIY Nursing Scarf Tutorial on Babble that requires just 1 yard of cotton jersey fabric. At the end of the tutorial, she also shows you multiple different ways that you can wear your new scarf. A few of my picks from the store:
T-shirt Scarves by Just Another Day in Paradise
There are a several different t-shirt scarf tutorials on the internet, but I love this one from Just Another Day In Paradise because she shows you how to alter them to use knit fabrics, as well as how to add braids. With a light weight, stretch knit fabric like cotton jersey or cotton lycra, you can easily recreate both of these scarves. A few of my picks from the store:
20 Minute Infinity Scarf by I Heart Nap Time
Looking for a cute fast project? Jamielyn of I Heart Nap Time put together this Infinity Scarf Tutorial that takes no time at all! With just 20 minutes of your time and 1 yard of a stretch knit fabric, you too can have the perfect infinity scarf. A few of my picks from the store:
No Sew Jersey Scarves by Hello Natural
There is no sewing experience required for this No Sew Jersey Scarf Tutorial by Hello Natural. One of the great things about knit fabrics is that they don't fray, so Stephanie leaves her edges raw in this tutorial. If you decide to dye your scarf, as Stephanie did here, you should start with a light colored fabric. A few of my picks from the store:
Braided Scarf Tutorial by Put Up Your Dukes
This Braided Scarf Tutorial from Keight of Put Up Your Dukes is the perfect way two combine two different fabrics. You can mix and match contrasting colors, prints, or a solid with a print. A few of my picks from the store:
Easy Infinity Scarf by Shrimp Salad Circus
Lindsay of Shrimp Salad Circus put together this Easy Infinity Scarf Tutorial that you are sure to love. One of my favorite things about this tutorial is that Lindsay thoroughly explains how to customize the size of your scarf to be exactly how long and wide you want it. Sometimes I want a scarf that is only going to go around once but needs more width, while sometimes I want a thinner longer one that I can wrap around twice. A few of my picks from the store:

We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next Knit Picks!

Happy sewing!
