A good tip Leanne provides on gather is to sew slowly and pay close attention so that the gathers stay in place and the machine does not flatter them. Have a serger on hand? I love to gather using a serger as it is really quick and easy and they do not unravel. Here is a
good guide if you want to give it a try!
Leanne offers a great hemming suggestion. Once you determine your perfect length, iron the bottom under 1/4", then under again 3/8", and then sew in place to create a professional looking hem.
