August Customer Spotlight :: Amanda Branski of Wee Maggie's

For this months Girl Charlee Customer Spotlight we have Amanda Branski of Wee Maggie's, a growing online accessories shop with rave reviews and super cute goods make with knit fabrics! Wee Maggie's currently offers a variety of gorgeous headbands and maxi skirts, but the highly anticipated winter collection will also include beanies, leggings, dresses, and sweaters. We cannot wait to see Amanda's new items. 

About Amanda :: 

Wee Maggie was the nickname my Mum was given by her Scottish family as a child. While growing up, my Mum used to spend hours sewing dance costumes but unfortunately I didn’t take advantage of her expertise by asking her to teach me how to sew. I taught myself how to sew as an adult, after spending many hours reading blogs and watching various YouTube videos. My new best friend has become my serger, but I am growing to love my regular sewing machine too.

Being the creator and owner of Wee Maggie’s is not hard. It helps when you are abundantly blessed by God, have a husband who supports you 100% and trusts you to invest your financial savings into a business, and you have three little girls who inspire you and model your products for photographs in exchange for lollipops. It also helps that I love to create and sew and wish there were more hours in the day for it.

I purchase all the fabric for my maxi skirts and turban headbands exclusively from Girl Charlee. Their unique prints and variety of solid colors allows me to be more creative.  I love to mix prints and solids when making headbands and color coordinating them with the maxi skirts. Now that I have two baby boys, I’ve become inspired to expand my products to include beanies and leggings. I have also begun working on new products for girls including dresses and sweaters made from Girl Charlee’s fleece and hacci knits.
