Girl Charlee Fabrics :: NEW Sewing Patterns from Willow & Co.

Girl Charlee Fabrics is very excited to announce the arrival of Willow & Co. sewing patterns to our store!  Willow & Co. is a collaborative collection of children's sewing patterns from eight extremely talented designers.  This collection is well rounded with dresses, tops, shorts, pants, sweaters...all well illustrated and easy to follow.  Enjoy!

Willow & Co. was born out of a dream to create a complete seasonal children’s clothing pattern collections and is comprised of patterns by eight designers - Laura, Celina, Hayley, Elisa, Olga, Vanessa and Rebecca. Our mission is to serve our customers with the ultimate children’s pattern shopping experience. We hope you and your child(ren) will appreciate our modern, fresh and fashion-forward aesthetic.

We partnered with one of the eight designers of Willow & Co. -- Haley of Mouse House Creations -- and she sewed up the Ash Jumpsuit Sewing Pattern using our new Chartreuse Purple Floral on Aqua Green Cotton Jersey Blend Knit Fabric. Didn't think you could make this jumpsuit in a knit? Of course you can! As Hayley points out, this knit fabric is sturdy with just the right amount of stretch. Also, since it's not sheer, you don't have to line it. This light to mid weight fabric has just the right thickness for easy-wearability.

Willow & Co Ash Jumpsuit Sewing Pattern :: Stride in style in the Ash Jumpsuit. Stylish young girls will appreciate its modern design and comfort. Want the look of the jumpsuit but the ease of two separate pieces? No problem. A halter top and pants option is available. The top features elasticized neckline and optional waistband. The pants have an elasticized waistband with a small ruffle. Pattern is available in sizes 6 months through 12 years. Recommended fabrics are light to mid weight wovens such as crepe de chine, rayon challis or peach skin. Willow & Co Persimmon Sundress and Top Sewing Pattern :: The light and breezy Persimmon Sundress pattern is a perfect choice for when the weather is warm. Swing in a hammock, soak up the sun and listen to birds sing. Not a single worry in the world. The Persimmon can be made in either top or dress lengths. It features inverted pleats, optional side ruffles, and flap pockets. This is a confident beginner friendly pattern. Available in sizes 6 months through 12 years. Recommended fabrics are mid weight jersey, interlock or ponte de roma. For a softer look try a light weight woven such as crepe de chine, rayon challis or peach skin.

Willow & Co Mulberry Tunic Sewing Pattern :: Young explorers will be thrilled with the Mulberry tunic. Designed with an active child in mind, it is equally appropriate on a camping adventure as exploring the sights of the big city. It features a front button placket and two sleeve lengths, with chest and inseam pockets. Options include a hood and button tabs on the sleeves. The design of the tunic is perfect for color blocking. This is an intermediate / confident beginner pattern. The Mulberry Tunic pattern is available in sizes 18 months through 12 years. Recommended fabrics are mid to heavy weight knits such as jersey, interlock, sweatshirt fleece or ponte de roma. It can also be made from a light to mid weight woven such as crepe de chine, rayon challis or peach skin.
