Elsie Marley and You & Mie have teamed up to bring you Happy Homemade Sew-Along, a sew-along for a Pullover Parka Hoodie sewing pattern. Entrants are encouraged to follow with the sew-along schedule, or work at their own pace, as long as their entries are submitted by June 23rd. The schedule goes as follows.
- Day 1 (Monday): Trace pattern pieces and add seam allowance
- Day 2 (Tuesday): Cut out fabric and prepare
- Day 3 (Wednesday): Sew sleeves and hood
- Day 4 (Thursday): Attach hood
- Day 5 (Friday): Finish!
Have fun with it and customize your hoodie to make it your own. You and Mie posted several suggestions on how to make the pattern your own. Progress shots and final pieces are to be displayed in the Flickr group, where one lucky sew-along participant will be randomly selected to win the prize package.
Sewing Mama RaeAnna celebrates year two of her fabulous Romper Week, a week-long link party with an assortment of sewn up rompers. After so much success the first time around this time is even bigger with more bloggers, more participants, and more prizes!
