The included pattern is designed to be tunic length, but Autumn provides detailed instructions on how to adjust the length. Her example is a midi-length dress, but you can easily adjust the pattern to be knee or maxi length as well.

Most stretch knit fabrics with good drape like Brushed Poly Spandex, Cotton Jersey, and Cotton Lycra, will work perfectly for your new swing dress. A few of my picks from the store:
