About Becky ::
Yoga, Fashion, and Crochet. Those three things are the inspiration and driving force behind BeMo Designs. I create athleisure inspired designs with a touch of handcrafted crochet. The easy to wear styles are for women and children and the handcrafted crochet details are where it all started for me nearly 10 years as I sat and made all the hats I could stomach and decided to discover a new way to infuse another love of mine- clothing design, with an age old fiber art. I scoured pinterest and youtube for videos on how to sew, working with knits, patterns, and crochet.
I am also yoga instructor and I want everyone to not just wear these clothes I want them to love them and live in them. I want people to wear them from a class, to a meeting, to travel in, to anything! I use only jersey knits because life is WAY too short to bust out an ironing board. With little ironing to do and versatile pieces there should be more time to play, dance, laugh, travel, and enjoy the body you were given.
Each piece is made in my home studio in Chicago where I dance often with my husband and three amazing boys. Surround yourself with people you love while doing the things you love. Everything that doesn't fall into this category (ahem, ironing!) isn't worth the time. I hope everyone finds a love and a passion... I just want to create clothes to help them feel amazing while searching for it.
