Tutorial Tuesday :: Slouchy Beanie from Needle, Ink and Thread

During the cooler months, it is so nice to be able to throw on a beanie or hat to help stay warm. This Slouchy Beanie Tutorial from Jesy Anderson of Needle, Ink and Thread is the perfect quick and easy sew that will also keep you cozy. Once your draft your perfect pattern, you'll be able to stitch one up in every print and color in no time at all! Click here for the entire tutorial and happy sewing!

Included in this tutorial are thorough instructions for using your measurements to draft your perfect pattern. Jesy's example is designed to be a slouchy hat, but she explains how to adjust the pattern to make a more fitted beanie based on your personal preferences.

Most stretch knit fabrics including Cotton Jersey, Cotton Lycra, and Hacci Swater Knits will be perfect for you new hat! As you'll only need about a half yard of fabric, I suggest starting your search with our selection of Precut Half Yards. A few of my picks from the store:
