The Named Clothing 2017 Fall/Winter Collection EARTH SCIENCE is now available at Girl Charlee Fabrics! This collection is designed as a tribute to nature, with inspiration from geology and minerals. Included are five dresses, a coat, a sweater, one pair of trousers, a shirt, and a skirt, each with several interesting structures and cuts throughout the pieces for a modern look. Below is closer look at a few of our favorites from Earth Science, but you can find the entire collection and more from Named Clothing at girlcharlee.com. Enjoy!

Named Clothing
Named is an independent clothing pattern label founded by Finnish sisters Saara and Laura Huhta. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. Named launches two main collections a year, and the patterns have five levels of difficulty, which means that anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer can find patterns suited to their skill level.

The pattern includes two variations: a sporty sweater and a feminine jersey dress. Both variations have an interesting geometric cut at the front and a funnel neck. The sweater is loose-fitting, and has elastic casing on the sleeves and a drawstring at the hem. The dress is semi-fitted and maxi-length, it has fitted sleeves and a deep vent on the hem at the back.

Try one of these fabrics:

Relaxed, yet smart sweatpants with a slim fit, tapered and slightly cropped legs and pleat details with snap fastening at the leg openings. Faux fly at the front, elasticated back waist, and side pockets.

Try one of these fabrics:

Semi-fitted, kimono sleeved dress with a flattering cut. Midi-length, pencil skirt -style hem, invisible zipper fastening at the side seam, and an invisible zipper at the front for adjusting the depth of the vent. Boat neck, narrow buckle belt at the waist. The dress is unlined.

Try one of these fabrics:
Casual and stylish, straight-cut wrap skirt with an asymmetrical cut at the hem. Length below the knee, wrap tie fastening that gathers the front beautifully. The skirt is double-layered and you can use the same fabric for both the shell and the lining.
