Tutorial Tuesday :: DIY Infinity Nursing Scarf from Mary Martha Mama

This weeks Tutorial Tuesday features the incredibly quick DIY Infinity Nursing Scarf Tutorial from Cat of Mary Martha Mama! With just 1 yard of your favorite knit fabric, you can make your very own handmade accessory that you will want to wear again and again. Choose a simple solid or stripe to match with many outfits or a bold print to add that fun pop to your wardrobe. Because it can open for excellent coverage, this infinity scarf is designed for nursing moms, but it is so stylish to wear that it's a great accessory for anyone! Happy Sewing!

This project is so easy to make that Cat mentions a possible no-sew option using fusible tape and an iron. Leaving your edges raw, you will only have 1 seam for the entire scarf - it's THAT simple!

For the perfectly soft and drapey infinity scarf, try using light weight stretch knit fabrics like Cotton Jersey and Cotton Lycra. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next Knit Picks!

Happy Sewing!
