Tutorial Tuesday :: Comfy Casual Top for Girls & Ladies from Sew Can Do

For this weeks Tutorial Tuesday we have the Comfy, Casual Top for Girls & Ladies from Cheryl of Sew Can Do, featuring BOLT by Girl Charlee Cotton Spandex Knits. With about a yard and half of these beautiful coordinating knits, you can recreate Cheryl's easy-to-sew project with a cowl neckband and removable belt in just one afternoon. Try pairing different prints and colors for a unique look every time! Enjoy and happy sewing.

What I love about this tutorial is that the techniques involved can be used for any size (both girls and ladies), as you learn to create your own pattern with an existing t-shirt and tracing paper.

Cheryl recommends using a light to medium weight knit fabric with good stretch, like our BOLT by Girl Charlee Collection. Since you only need 1/2 yard for the accent belt and cowl, you can find many fabric options in our precut Half Yards. A few of my picks from the store:
