Our December Customer Spotlight features Linnden King of Urban Cowgirl & Co., a handmade women's apparel and accessories line based in Canada that specializes in trendy Kimonos. Running her own business has provided Linnden with the ability to work from home full time while also being a hands-on mom. With many goals for expanding Urban Cowgirl & Co. in the upcoming months, we are excited to see how this company grows.
About Linnden ::
Located on the Canadian prairies in the beautiful province of Alberta, Urban Cowgirl & Co. handcrafts classic, timeless pieces of apparel and accessories. Our main apparel piece that we manufacture is Kimonos. Our Kimonos are the perfect accessory to complete almost any outfit! I love sourcing new fabrics and prints for our collections that we release seasonally, and Girl Charlee never fails to deliver when we are in need of bright, bold colors, floral prints, and top quality fabric! Urban Cowgirl & Co. was established in November of 2013. We are still based out of my home studio, with myself and two other seamstresses sewing all of our pieces. My motivation to grow the company, comes from my children. I am a single mother to two, my daughter Emmy who is 7, and my son Dawson who is 3. Urban Cowgirl & Co. has allowed me to work from home, be a full-time, hands-on mom, and still make a very lucrative living and career. We have some lofty goals for 2017 and are very excited to move our apparel production onto a larger scale through the hiring of a student Intern, the release of another collection of Kimonos (our Boudoir Collection!!!) and gaining more Wholesale accounts in Canada.
