Tutorial Tuesday :: Easy Knit Summer Sundress Tutorial from Sewbon

With summer just starting to warm up, dresses are essential to looking (and staying) cool! Erin of Sewbon provides readers with this stunningly simple Knit Summer Sundress Tutorial. While this dress is incredibly easy to make, it is sure to become a favorite that you will want to sew up again and again in every color and print that you can imagine! Happy Sewing!

Erin walks you through sewing your new dress step-by-step with detailed instructions. Another plus about this dress is that you can leave the armholes and hem unfinished, since one of the wonderful things about knits is that they do not fray or unravel!

Any knit fabric will work perfectly for this dress, but a light to medium weight cotton jersey or cotton lycra would be recommended for a summer dress. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!

Happy Sewing!
