Fitting clothing for petites is about the right proportions, not just making clothing shorter. SBCC patterns are specifically designed for petites sizes XXS-3X. Stop altering and make clothing that fits you!

The Pinot Pants are your classic pull on pants with an updated silhouette featuring a front rise that sits below the natural waist, at the hips on the sides, and provides ample coverage in the back. The waistband is flat with no gathering or excess fullness. The pant is fitted through the waist, hip, and thighs, but has a micro-flare leg opening that can cover the tops of your shoes. Available in inseam lengths 27-31".

This cardigan is perfect cover up for a tank top or a strapy dress. The front drape does not overwhelm a petite torso, and can conceal a fuller chest. It is fitted, but loose at the same time for maximum comfort.

You know those yoga pants you wear on the weekends? Why not up the style ante and keep the comfort of a yoga waistband with the sophistication of a long flared maxi skirt? Easy to wear on your errands with flip flops, but pair it with a dressy top and some wedge sandals for an elegant look. This skirt is perfect for the stick-straight petites, but also for the curvy girls who aren’t afraid to show it off. Silhouette is engineered to taper higher than normal and the flared hem is not too overwhelming. If you need it shorter, roll the waistband. If you need it longer, extend the waistband so the seam falls at the hips. This easy maxi skirt sewing pattern sews up in a minimal amount of time.

The Cabernet Cardigan features three different body length options, perfectly proportioned for petites: View A- long and relaxed fit with 3/4 or long sleeves View B- short and relaxed fit with 3/4 or long sleeves View C- short and fitted body with 3/4 or long fitted sleeves This pattern is intended for knit fabrics and is a great project for an intermediate sewer, but instructions are user-friendly for beginners as well. Optional Trims: 1/4″ clear elastic tape, buttons or snaps for closure.
