Girl Charlee Fabrics :: NEW Named Clothing Sewing Pattern Fall/Winter 2015 Preview


The Named Clothing 2015 Fall/Winter Collection NEW BLACK is now available exclusively for Girl Charlee customers! This incredible collection features a fresh look on classic wardrobe staples, with unique and elaborate details that are sure to make a statement. Each of these pieces feature a timeless design with a modern edge. I can hardly wait to sew these up!

Named Clothing
Named is an independent clothing pattern label founded by Finnish sisters Saara and Laura Huhta. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. Named launches two main collections a year, and the patterns have five levels of difficulty, which means that anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer can find patterns suited to their skill level.
A loose-fitting sweatshirt with long bust darts, hiigh hip length, full-length sleeves with ribbed cuffs, neckline and hem. Suggested fabrics are sweatshirt fleece, french terry, or similar knit.

Named Clothing Olivia Jersey Wrap Dress Sewing Pattern ::                                  A classic wrap dress with a slightly tulip-shaped skirt with a below the knee length, our pleats on the front waist provide ease and in-seam side pockets. This dress also features an elastic waist and fastening with wide wrap ties. Suggested fabrics are cotton lycra and cotton jersey.

Named Clothing Polly Straight Skirt Sewing Pattern ::
A straight-cut midi skirt with a normal rise with a zipper closure, a deep vent at the front, and diagonal side pockets. The front and back are made of four pieces, which can be topstitched if desired and the waistband has a snap button fastening and belt loops. The skirt is lined above the knee, and the lining is attached to the skirt only at the waist and zip fly, so that it can be hand-washed separately from the shell if necessary. Suggested fabrics are vegan leather or a medium weight fabric with 5-10% stretch.

Named Clothing Lexi A-Line Dress & Top Sewing Pattern ::
The pattern includes two variations: An a-line dress and a half-sleeve top. Both variations have a loose fit, a boat neck and long bust darts at the front. The dress has a lowered waistline, and an above the knee length skirt, is lined, and it has straight, ¾-length sleeves, two pleats in the front and back skirt and an invisible zipper at the back. The top is cropped and it has wide half-sleeves. Suggested fabrics are specialty woven, scuba knit, and ponte de roma.
