Our January Knitriffic Blog features Melly Sews, a sewing blog written by the uber creative Melissa Mora. Melly Sews is true to its motto- Dream, Learn, Make- because it genuinely inspires and teaches sewists of all levels to create new projects. In Melissa's words, "This blog is an ever-growing collection of teachings through projects, patterns, sharing and inspiration to get the things you want to make out of your head and into closets and homes."
how to hem anything, how to make sewing patterns bigger or smaller, and how to measure kids for sewing clothes. In addition, there are several tutorials (and free sewing patterns!) for specific projects, like bias trimmed shorts for women, a pleated collar women's t-shirt, and a button shoulder raglan tee for kids. There is something for everyone on this blog!
