Tutorial Tuesday :: Vegan Leather Edgy Black Tee by Happiness is Creating

Adding Vegan Leather cutouts to clothing is one of my favorite ways to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary!  With vegan leather being used in so many fun ways this season I found the perfect Edgy Black Tee tutorial from Meghan Quinones of Happiness is Creating.  I can't wait to get sewing on a holiday party t-shirt for me!

Best part about this tutorial is that you can do this with any store bought t-shirt or you can make your own and customize the pattern by replacing the sleeves and trim and accent pieces with vegan leather.  A few options from the indie sewing patterns we have in store:

   

We suggest a cotton jersey blend knit fabric for the shirt body and vegan leather for the sleeves and accents you wish to amp up. We suggest these fabrics from the store:
