Girl Charlee Fabrics :: NEW Indie Sewing Patterns Round Up

We have fantastic new women's patterns this week from four of our independent sewing pattern designers at Girl Charlee! Winter Wear Designs
Winter Wear Designs are PDF sewing patterns created and designed by Suzanne Winter. As a mother of three, Suzanne understands the importance of stylish yet WEARABLE clothing for both women and children. She hopes her collection will inspire more people to sew with confidence. Suzanne grew up sewing at home, she then studied costume design in college. As a professional photographer she has an eye for detail and a desire to make all people feel great about how they look!
Winter Wear Designs Champs Elysee Cross Back Blazer Sewing Pattern
This pattern is a blazer designed with princess seams and the option of a gathered sleeve or straight sleeve. You also have the option of short, 3/4 length, or long sleeves - so it is perfect for all seasons. All of the internal seams are finished with bias tape for a professional finish that adds a great pop when the jacket is opened. The Cross Back Blazer can dress up or down easily so that it works perfectly at the office or on the playground. The cross back allows for ease of movement and a relaxed fit yet it still has a tailored finish that will convince anyone that it came from a high end store.

 See Kate Sew
Kate Blocher is a young and highly driven fashion enthusiast. She turns her love of creating into DIY tutorials, refashions and sewing tips as content creator of seekatesew.com. Kate is also a happy wife and mother of two. She loves clothes, running, stacks of fabric and everything about sewing!

The ADELAIDE is a vintage inspired top with a modern flair. The yoked front and keyholed back make this top totally unique and perfect for the warm weather. Add a ruffle and decorative buttons for wardrobe versatility. Pattern features side darts in the front and an elastic and button closure in the back. This pattern comes with sizes XXS through XL. This is an intermediate level sewing pattern.

Jocole
All patterns are designed and handmade by Jodi Jean, super mom to 4 kinds under the age of 4, of Jocole. Jocole patterns are hand-drafted and then scanned and digitized into professional patterns. Each size is clearly marked for ease of cutting and are just perfect for knits!
Jocole Ladies Quick Dress Sewing Pattern
Loose fitting hip length top or knee length dress with a flattering a-line shape below the waist. Easy pull over style (NO buttons or zippers). LOTS of options included: Optional contrasting yoke. Optional elastic under the bust, at the waist or at the hips. Optional boatneck or scoopneck neckline. Optional inseam pockets and 7 sleeve options. This pattern is QUICK to make. The hardest and most time consuming part is printing, taping and cutting -- but it sews together fast.

Named Clothing
Named is an independent clothing pattern label founded by Finnish sisters Saara and Laura Huhta. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. Named launches two main collections a year, and the patterns have five levels of difficulty, which means that anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer can find patterns suited to their skill level.

The Yona is a loose fitting and lined boyfriend style coat with a V-neckline and peaked notch lapels. It features a raglan cut, mid-thigh length, lined patch pockets in the front and a belt closure (optional button closure included). This pattern comes with sizes US 0 to 14 (EUR 32 - 46, UK 4 – 18). This is an advanced level sewing pattern. Suggested fabrics are mid to heavy weight wovens such as wool or wool blends or you can also use a stable knit such a Ponte de Roma or sweatshirt knit.
