Girl Charlee Fabrics :: NEW Girl Charlee Sewing Patterns

The first patten in the Girl Charlee Sewing Pattern Collection is here!  This has been such a fun project for us all here at Girl Charlee.  We are launching with our Girl Charlee Vintage Puff Sleeve Tunic & Dress which was one of the most popular pieces from the original Girl Charlee Clothing line.  This is just the beginning for Girl Charlee Sewing Patterns with many more designs already in the works!

Girl Charlee Sewing Patterns was inspired by my daughter Charlotte Lee, or Charlee for short.  As a vintage fabric & sewing pattern collector I was inspired to create unique clothing for her from my vintage patterns and was frustrated by how hard they were to sew and how uncomfortable Charlee found them to wear.  From that frustration I redesigned a few of my favorite vintage silhouettes to make them more comfortable for wear, and much easier to sew, resulting in the creation of this collection of sewing patterns.   I hope you enjoy sewing these for your children as much as I did creating and sewing them for my own!
The Girl Charlee Vintage Puff Sleeve Tunic & Dress Sewing Pattern
The Vintage Puff Sleeve Tunic & Dress is a quick and easy to sew pattern that can be constructed in either a woven or a knit fabric, is embellished with lace, and utilizes fun sewing techniques like elastic thread and rolled edge finishes. Version 1 creates an easy to wear top with a longer tunic style length, while Version 2 creates a dress. Both are easy, pull on style with an empire waist and an a-line silhouette.

We could not have done this without the help we received from our amazing pattern testers!  The feedback they provided helped us make our pattern as perfect as it can be, and we really love all the  beautiful photos of the finished dresses and top on their beautiful models.
