Girl Charlee Knitriffic Blogs :: The Papercut Collective

Our August Knitriffic Blog is The Papercut Collective, a wonderful sewing blog from Katie and the creators of Papercut Patterns. The Papercut Collective is full of sewing tips, tutorials, inspiration, and even the occasional contest.  One thing that I love about Papercut is their environmentally conscious views.  They believe, "A good quality, well made garment can last a lifetime, so lets keep our earth alive long enough to appreciate our craftsmanship."
On the sidebar of The Papercut Collective is my go-to for several incredible sewing tips - their "tricks of the trade" category. These tricks of the trade include helpful posts about so many important sewing techniques, including neck binding, buttons, invisible zippers, and bias binding.
The Papercut Collective includes several resources designed for helping sewists sew up their own line of sewing patterns. Here is a display of the supplies needed for the Soma swimsuit. The post includes suggestions for where to buy materials for your Soma as well as tips for sewing it up.
If you have a favorite sewing blog let us know all about it in the comments, or email gcblog@girlcharlee.com and we might feature it in our next Knitriffic Blogs post!

Happy sewing!
