Girl Charlee Knitriffic Blogs :: The Coletterie

This month for our Knitriffic Blog feature we have the super knit savvy The Coletterie, a sewing blog created by the founders of Colette Patterns.  According to The Coletterie, "Knits are fast. Knits are easy. Knits get worn."  Here!  Here!  The Coletterie blog is organized into 15 categories that include thoughts on sewing, inspiration, examples of projects, peeks into the studio, sewing tips, and more.
The first knit fabric sewing patterns of Colette Patterns were introduced on The Coletterie this past April- the Mabel and Monetta. Since then, pictures of these patterns and tutorials on sewing up these patterns have been posted about all over the blogsphere.  If you're working on one of these or any of the other Colette Patterns, The Coletterie links to the Sewalongs page that will help you every step of the way in your project.  What more can you ask for in a blog resource?
But wait, there is more!  If you're looking for a great resource to have on hand while sewing with knit fabrics, The Colette Guide to Sewing Knits may be just the book for you. As an added bonus, there are options to purchase a printed copy of the book as well as a PDF version to access from your mobile device while you sew.
If you have a favorite sewing blog let us know all about it in the comments, or email gcblog@girlcharlee.com and we might feature it in our next Knitriffic Blogs post!

Happy sewing!
~ Heather and the Girl Charlee Team
