Girl Charlee Fabrics :: NEW Sewing Patterns from Named Clothing

Girl Charlee Fabrics is very excited to announce the arrival of Named Clothing sewing patterns to our collection of independent sewing patterns! With over 20 sewing patterns to choose from, these trendy, well put together patterns are great for sewists of all ages and levels.  We love to see what everyone has been creating with these patterns so we have included some blogger reviews of a few of our favorite patterns below.  Enjoy!

Named Clothing
Named is an independent clothing pattern label founded by Finnish sisters Saara and Laura Huhta. Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. Named launches two main collections a year, and the patterns have five levels of difficulty, which means that anyone from a beginner to a more experienced sewer can find patterns suited to their skill level.
Named Clothing Kielo Wrap Dress Sewing Pattern ::
The Kielo Wrap Dress is a very simple but extravagant dress with an interesting shape. It features a sleeveless design with a round neckline, wrap lace closure at the waist and a slim skirt with a vent in the back. This pattern comes with sizes US 0 to 14 (EUR 32 - 46, UK 4 – 18). This is a simple level sewing pattern.

Donna of Sew Independent reviewed the Kielo Wrap Dress and is thrilled with the results. Although she originally intended to sew up her Kielo with a woven fabric, Donna was pleasantly surprised by just how much she loved this dress as a knit. She was very happy with just how simple it was to make (with no zippers or buttons) and plans to make many more. Read her full review here.

The Blair Batwing Shirt is a loose-fitting and casual shirt with wide sleeves and a dropped shoulder line. This pattern is very easy to sew and perfect for beginners. This pattern comes with sizes US 2 to 12 (EUR 34 - 44, UK 6 – 16). This is a very simple level sewing pattern.

Laura of Behind the Hedgegrow sewed up the Blair Batwing Shirt as part of her Selfish Sewing Week. Laura raves about this sewing pattern, noting that it is easy-to-follow, figure flattering, and fits great. The only alteration that she made to her Blair Batwing is that she added about 7cm to the length. Read her full review here.
Named Clothing Jamie Jeans Sewing Pattern ::
The Jamie Jeans are a modern skinny jean with a regular waist and slimming front seams. They feature an attractive and unique front pocket panel that can be made from turned denim or any other contrasting material. This pattern comes with sizes US 2 to 12 (EUR 34 - 44, UK 6 – 16). This is an average level sewing pattern.

Kelly of Cut Cut Sew officially sewed up her first pair of jeans- the Jaime Jeans- and she hopes that her review will encourage others to sew up their own jeans! Kelly's post is very encouraging for beginners and she says "this was such a satisfying make, and I love wearing them." With zero changes made to the pattern, these pants look so incredible! Named Clothing Laurie Striped Tee Sewing Pattern ::
The Laurie Striped Tee is a classic T-shirt with wide horizontal pleats that create a striped effect. It features a loose and casual fit with short sleeves. This pattern comes with sizes US 2 to 12 (EUR 34 - 44, UK 6 – 16). This is a very simple level sewing pattern.
