Tutorial Tuesday :: Women’s Peplum Mini Dress from The Stitching Scientist

Peplum, peplum, it is everywhere!  I am really digging how this vintage style is so flattering, feminine and can be made out of just about any knit.  Remona Gopaul of the Stitching Scientist has crafted this free two size ladies women's peplum mini dress pattern and also included an easy to follow along tutorial.  Thank you Remona and you are rocking that dress!

Did I mention you can make this peplum out of a wide range of knits?  Just select one with the weight you want, not too light since it is a dress, and pretty much any pattern will do.  Even try a contrast solid peplum on a print?!?!  A few of my picks from the store:

We hope you enjoy this tutorial and please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!

Happy sewing!
