New Ribbing Fabric + Tutorials

Ribbing fabrics are now available at Girl Charlee Fabrics! We had lots of customers asking us to carry these specialty knits and we are excited to feature six new colors Bright RedHot PinkPure BlackPure WhiteTeal Green, and Turquoise Blue.

These rayon spandex ribbings are silky soft and have great stretch and recovery. They also sew into great tank tops, tank dresses, maxis, etc. We have definitely seen it with Jamie Christina's Mission Maxi pattern and love the look!

How to Sew with Ribbing Fabrics

One of the best ways to use ribbing fabric is to finish the edges of sleeves, necklines, and hems of your garments. T-shirts necklines and sleeves are classic examples of how ribbing fabric is best put to use. A great tutorial to reference is Shwin & Shwin's Sewing 101: Ribbing. Shauna shows you how to sew ribbing to a neckline and sleeves to complete the look of your knit fabrics project.
