Tutorial Tuesday: Striped Relay Dress by Jen of iCandyHandmade

Our first Tutorial Tuesday! We are excited to introduce this new series which will feature our favorite knit sewing tutorials every week.  We work with knit fabrics a LOT and have learned how difficult it is to find good tutorials that are knit-centric.  Every week we will post our most favorite knit tutorials to save you time scouring the internet for them...use that time to get sewing instead!
We are so in love with this cute and casual Striped Relay Dress tutorial by Jen of iCandyHandmade. Inspired by a J. Crew look-a-like, this dress is comfortable and great for everyday wear. Her daughter loves it! If you want to make your own, head over to Jen's blog for her step-by-step instructions. The tutorial is clear and easy to understand with pictures and a free PDF pattern...what else do you need?

The Striped Relay Dress would work perfectly with a light-to-medium weight cotton jersey knit fabric. Recreate it with bold red-and-white stripes or try it with our Mustard Yellow Tonal Stripe Cotton Jersey Knit or Black and Natural White Stripe Cotton Spandex Knit Fabric. The dress would look absolutely adorable in the Vintage Revival White Dot on Blue Cotton Spandex Knit too!

Happy sewing!
