We have some super exciting news...our popular Nautical Flag print is back and now in three beautiful colorways! So many of our customers raved about the Black Nautical Flag print that we decided to bring back the print not only in
Black on Ivory, but also in
Nautical Blue on White and
Poppy Red on White. These nautical flags are now printed on a super soft rayon spandex knit with great stretch and recovery and the blue and red coordinate with our brand new
Anchors Away Collection!
Imagine our surprise when we stumbled across our former Blue Nautical Flag print in a blogger sewing collaboration, the S.O.S. Fabric Challenge! Three amazing seamstresses
Trisha,
Andrea, and
Beth gave each other a month to make something amazing with the Blue Nautical Flag on White Ponte de Roma fabric. (S.O.S. stands for Stashbusting our Sister.) All three garments turned out so cute that we had to share. See the pictures below, then set sail to read about each project on their blogs!
Andrea's pencil skirt started out as a dress but the result is this sleek and chic beauty. To style the bold print, she wore it with a simple handmade shirt and neutral-toned wedge heels. We love everything about this look!

Beth had only 34" of the blue flag print and worked her magic to create this top. Lots of sketching and debating involved (with pictures to prove it) but it turned out great! Go Beth!

Trisha's dress is business in the front and fun in the back! With an elastic waistband and super cute cutouts, this dress looks comfy and fashionable.
Head on over to
Andrea,
Beth, and
Trisha's blogs and read all about their sewing journeys. We hope their S.O.S. Challenge inspires you to make something too!
Happy sewing!
