Customer Spotlight: Teresa Robert

The first post in our monthly Customer Spotlight! This month we are featuring customer Teresa Robert, owner/designer of Isabela's Ribbons and Stitched Pink on Etsy. Teresa and I spoke on the phone recently and she told me that she has completed 20 walks to raise money for Breast Cancer and was looking for some pink chevron to make goods for her fundraising. Teresa's story inspired the creation of the Perfectly Pink Chevron line and we love how she is using the fabrics for such a great cause. Please read Teresa's story below, and be sure to enter her contest to win one of her beautiful monogrammed scarves.
About Teresa

Teresa Robert, a hotel manager turned stay-at-home mother of two kids, walked her first Avon Walk for Breast Cancer after losing her father from a terminal form of cancer. Devastated and angry from the loss Teresa remembered the words spoken by her father's doctor: USE YOUR ANGER TO POWER YOU TO DO SOMETHING GOOD. By turning her grief into motivation, she decided to walk to help the fight against breast cancer. Five years later Teresa has completed twenty long-distance walks, totaling 840 miles and raising more than $40,000!

After the second year of her journey, Teresa combined her compassion for the victims of breast cancer and her hobby of making hair bows into a charitable business. Isabela Ribbons was created to raise awareness of breast cancer and to fundraise donations toward the Avon Walk.

Teresa says she is "Tickled Pink" by the success of her infinity scarves (pictured below) and has plans to make and sell them to fund her next walk in May this year. Go Teresa!!
