Tutorial Tuesday :: The Breezy Tee Kimono by It's Always Autumn

Girl Charlee New Arrivals are full of gorgeous printed knits in trending floral and mod designs, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to share this simple Breezy Tee Kimono Tutorial from Autumn Baldwin of It's Always Autumn. A kimono like this one is the perfect garment to add a fun print and color to your outfit, as it pairs perfectly with jeans and a basic tee. How do you like to style your kimono?

To sew up this kimono, you'll need Autumn's FREE Breezy Tee Sewing Pattern to begin. In her kimono instructions, Autumn uses written instructions with coorelating pictures to demonstrate every step of the way. You will be amazed by just how easy it is to sew, so you may want one in every print and color!

You could sew up this kimono in almost any lightweight knit fabric with good drape including cotton jersey, cotton lycra, or hacci sweater. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!

Happy sewing!
