Tutorial Tuesday :: Summer Knit Cardigan with FREE Sewing Pattern from iCandy Handmade

Girl Charlee New Arrivals have filled up with lightweight Hacci Sweater Knits and Cotton Jersey Knits that are perfect for warm weather cover ups and blouses. For this weeks Tutorial Tuesday, we have an adorable Summer Knit Cardigan Tutorial from Jen of iCandy Handmade. As an added bonus, Jen provides her FREE sewing pattern in two sizes. The size Small is modeled here by a friend's daughter and the size Medium can be found here.

If you're new to sewing with Hacci Sweater Knits, this is the perfect place to start because this tutorial is so simple to follow. Jen provides both written instructions and photographs that take you every step of the way. It looks so cute and easy, I think I'm going to make one of these out of every fabric in my stash!

You can also check out Jen's charming sweater here

Any lightweight knit fabric would be perfect for this cardigan. I suggest starting your search with light to medium weight Cotton Jersey and Hacci Sweater knits. A few of my picks from the store:
We hope you enjoy this tutorial! We love to see what you sew up so please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!
