Tutorial Tuesday :: Baby Moccasins Tutorial by Sewing In No Mans Land

As Girl Charlee now stocks vegan leather I have been hunting around for some easy sewing tutorials for baby mocs to give as gifts to my new little niece and my niece on the way!  We found so many great tutorials for making baby mocs and landed on this one by Kelly Crawford from Sewing In No Mans Land as it includes a free pattern to use.  She makes her Little Leather Moccasins with real leather, but you could easily sew some up with our vegan Leather collection.
Kelly used a free Baby Footies pattern to make her moccasins but adjusted it a little bit.  The cutest addition she made to the pattern is the fringe that comes off the back and the side of the shoe.  This is done by adding an extra piece on top of the elastic and the heel of the shoe.
These little moccasins would be perfect in one of our Faux Vegan Leather fabrics.  They can be made in tons of fun colors so sew up a whole collection! Try one of these (or even mix two colors):
We hope you enjoy this tutorial and please send 1-2 images of any project you make with Girl Charlee Fabrics to gcblog@girlcharlee.com and you might see your creation featured in our next KnitPicks!

Happy sewing!
