Tutorial Tuesday:: SImple Shorts by Freshly Completed

         

 

It's time for another Tutorial Tuesday! In looking around for a basic shorts pattern for the kids to run around in during these hot summer days I found these Simple Shorts by Freshly Completed.  Even though these are made from woven fabric they would sew up wonderfully with knits and you can skip the ironing to make these sew up even faster!  Best of all this has an actual download pdf pattern so you can print it out for your pattern stash. The choices of fabric, color and prints that can be used are endless which makes this basic tutorial perfect for knocking out a whole collection at one time!

     

You will need about 1/2 to 1 1/4 yards of knit fabric, depending on the size for this pattern. Solids, stripes, or prints would all work wonderfully. A few of our picks from the store:
