Customer Spotlight: Jenn of Mino Designs

Welcome back to another Customer Spotlight! This month, we are featuring Jennifer Moenter of Mino Designs, an Etsy and Facebook shop that sells beautiful infinity scarves, totes, and maxi skirts made with cute prints and colorful patterns. When Jennifer wrote to us about starting her own business and sewing full-time, she totally made our day and we couldn't wait to write about her. Read about her success story below and enter her giveaway to win a Mino Designs Infinity Scarf!

About Jennifer

Jenn is first and foremost a Mommy of three children, ages 5, 6, and 16. Before she started Mino Designs, she found herself looking forward to getting into her rather large vegetable garden each spring. Who knew pulling weeds and canning vegetables could be so therapeutic! Digging in her garden made her realize how much she loved to create and that she needed something in her life that would make her as "crafty"as other talented mothers she admired. Last November, she taught herself to sew and make infinity scarves because after all, who doesn't need a good accessory? Before she knew it, she was quitting her job and sewing full-time! Now she not only makes infinity scarves, but personalized pillow cases, totes, maxi skirts, and more!

If you are wondering about the name, Mino was Jennifer's nickname when she was two years old and has followed her into this thirty...something age today.  She is still learning, but one thing she knows for sure: Sewing is fun...and so rewarding!

  8. Oh my goodness I can so relate to her story! My 12 year old daughter recently started sewing classes and we have just finished our first few creations...drawstring bags, reversible skirts. We are quickly becoming sewing addicts! In a good way(: Sewing is becoming a lost art and I am so happy my daughter will have that skill! I would be blessed to receive one of her scarves. I especially love the chevrons! Blessings to her in her business and thanks for the introduction! Susan
