About Owl's and Bat's
Owl's and Bat's Mustard on White Stripe Girls' Set (right) and Olive and Oatmeal Stripe Girl's Set (left). |
A self-proclaimed Harry Potter fan, Babs loves making magic-inspired infant wear for her nieces. When her youngest niece came home from daycare saying that people were looking in her clothes, Babs didn't think much of it...but then, her niece kept saying the same thing every day! Babs made a trip to the daycare center, and was thrilled to find that the teachers and parents of other kids were looking for a label to find out where to order the clothing from. That was when she and Brett decided to turn Owl's & Bat's into a girls' clothing line.
Babs says she loves seeing how excited her nieces are to wear her clothes and hearing the compliments of other kids, teachers, and complete strangers!
As for the flying broom, it never got past the concept stage, but it did bring a little magic to all who rode it.
